First Day of School Ever
The kids started their first day of school ever a couple of weeks ago. It was a sad, sad day for mommy and daddy – the babies are growing up. Next will be high school graduation. (Okay, give me a second to find a tissue.) While, being an ex-teacher, I know it’s a good thing socially and mentally, but no one will teach them as good as I can at home. I’m not there to protect them from the harsh realities of the cruel world.
I could have sworn we just brought them home from the hospital. And, now my “babies” are headed off to school. I know, I know… they can’t stay young forever. It’s just sad to see them growing up so fast. Of course, I can’t wait to re-stage this first photo on their last day of high school… too fun. Enjoy!

I went to pre-Kindergarten at the Little Grey School House, but I don’t remember my first day. I do, however, remember my first day of Kindergarten. A girl was crying and screaming and tried to hang on to her mom’s leg as she was leaving… and NO, it wasn’t me!
Do you remember your first day?

Julia, these pictures are just priceless. And I hate to tell you but it’s true. Next thing you know they will be in high school. Enjoy the ride!

How sweet! Best part of the whole post was how happy and excited they both look setting off on their adventure!

Aw, it has begun. In some ways, it seems like I’ve been raising my kids forever and a day. And yet, it is way too soon for my oldest to be in high school. I’m glad your two are enjoying school.
