Sara’s Guest Haus
The last few visits to Amish Country (Berlin, Ohio), I have tried to find unique and fun places to stay. I was searching online and came across Sara’s Guest Haus last year. We decided to give Sara’s a try… and I am so glad we did!
Sara and her family have opened up their home to visitors. They have remodeled their lower level and have provided a very clean, homey, and comfortable place to stay. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen area, games, pool table, air hockey, fireplace, and big screen television complete with DVDs and movies.
Truly, an amazing experience.
The decorations are rustic country and are beautiful. It felt like home from the moment Nana, the kids and I walked in. I truly wanted to move in and not leave!
Located 5 minutes west of Millersburg, Sara’s Guest Haus provides a relaxing, home-like atmosphere that made our visit to Amish Country amazing– we can’t wait to come back!
While there, make sure you check out Rolling Ridge Ranch!
NOTE: Sara’s Guest Haus has closed. If they would happen to reopen, I will let you know. However, Rolling Ridge Ranch is still open and a great place to take your children!

I’ve been to Berlin many times, but being that it is only an hour from where I grew up, we’ve never stayed overnight. Looks like we should have, though! What a great find. And not haunted, which is a plus.

I know! When we drove by Hotel Millersburg, Nana and I bust out laughing and said “I hope Sara’s isn’t haunted!”
