Saucy Turkey Burger with Pico
Craving something bold and flavorful for your next cookout or weeknight dinner? This saucey turkey burger with fresh pico de gallo brings the perfect mix of heat, zest, and freshness. Lean ground turkey gets a spicy kick from the chili sauce, while the homemade pico adds a bright, juicy crunch on top. It’s a lighter take on a burger that doesn’t hold back on flavor—and it’s easy enough to whip up any night of the week.

Recipe Highlights
Quick and Easy: This recipe is so easy – even easier if you buy turkey patties pre-made! The best part is, it doesn’t taste like it was easy!
Versatile: These delicious turkey burgers can be made on a grill, fried in a pan, or broiled in the oven.
Ingredients for Saucy Turkey Burger with Pico
Turkey: great for replacing ground beef for a healthier option – but, feel free to swap out beef for this recipe!
Swiss cheese: don’t skimp on cheese – buy the good stuff! If you can find it locally, I highly recommend Guiggisberg or Walnut Creek brands.
Chili sauce: this is located near the ketchup in the condiment aisle
Pico: feel free to make your own, but I bought the premade stuff!
Making the Burgers
Cook the patties in your chosen method. Season with garlic salt and black pepper on both sides. Top patties with Swiss cheese and allow to melt slightly. Place on bun and top with chili sauce and pico.
