Chocolate Crescent Rolls
In our family, these are also called "Jeff's French Pastries." I don't know how French they are, but I do know they are delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 roll crescent roll dough separated and unrolled
- 8-10 pieces Hershey chocolate nuggets unwrapped
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg beaten
Instructions
- Prepare baking sheet as per crescent roll package directions. Unroll and separate each crescent roll.
- Place one chocolate nugget on the wide end of each crescent roll triangle. Roll dough over chocolate and towards pointed end. Press lightly to seal end.
- Brush each crescent roll with beaten egg, sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake according to package directions.
- Allow to cool 5-10 minutes before eating.
Notes
Chocolate may be hot, even after cooling. Test prior to serving.
