1cupold fashioned oatsquick oats can be used, but it may have a different texture

½cupcold, unsalted buttercut into small cubes
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350℉. Butter an 9 x 9" baking dish, or spray with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
Spiced Apples
Peel, core, and slice apples into thin wedges.
In large bowl toss apple wedges with lemon juice, sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Spread evenly in the baking dish.
Topping
In a separate bowl, mix the oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in the butter with a pastry cutter, two forks, or your fingers until mixture is crumbly.
Sprinkle topping evenly over the apples.
Baking and Serving
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until top is golden brown and the apples are bubbling.
