As usual, this week was a busy one around here. We had our first home football game, chasing the puppy around, and still cleaning up storm damage.
With all this going on, dinners needed to be pretty simple. We had a few favorites, the kids made lasagna for my birthday, Pete cooked one night, and we had a soft pretzel at the game.
Here’s what ended up on our table this week.
This Week’s Meals
Lasagna
The kids made lasagna for my birthday, it was delicious and I didn’t have to cook!
Buffalo Chicken Burgers and Pasta Salad
We had buffalo chicken burgers with pasta salad, which was an easy dinner for a busy night.
Weeknight Beef and Noodles
This was a good comfort-food dinner for the week. Nothing complicated, no complaints.
Crunchy Beef Tacos with Rice and Refried Beans
Crunchy beef tacos are always an easy dinner around here. We served them with a rice and refried beans. Plus. there was leftovers for lunch the next day.
Chicken Quesadillas
Chicken quesadillas are another one of those easy dinners that I can throw together without spending a lot of time in the kitchen.

Football Friday
I can’t resist a soft pretzel at a football game. That’s what I had for dinner. And it was good.
Macaroni and Cheese
Pete cooked and gave me a night off from the kitchen. He made boxed macaroni and cheese. And it was delicious.
