What I Cooked This Week: Simple Family Meals

This week was busy and a little all over the place, so I kept meals simple and realistic. Nothing fancy – just what worked for us.

Here’s what we actually ate this week:

Monday:
Chicken tacos with rice
Easy, quick, and everyone eats it without complaints—always a win.

Tuesday:
Spaghetti and garlic bread
A classic fallback meal when I don’t want to think too hard.

Wednesday:
Breakfast for dinner (eggs, toast, fruit)
One of my favorite “reset” meals when the week feels chaotic.

Thursday:
Chicken and rice casserole
This one is great for leftovers and makes enough for the next day.

Friday:
Pizza night
End-of-week survival mode.

Saturday:
Leftovers
Cleared out the fridge a bit.

Sunday:
Slow cooker roast with potatoes
Simple and comforting—and makes the house smell amazing.
